Do you think your employees just spend time surfing Facebook all day?  Have you ever thought about how using social media can help your organization's brand and help you gain more clients, customers and/or donations. Come to our session this month to learn how social media relates to the organization's culture, branding and practices and how to craft a social media policy for your staff.

    Shaneka L. Stanley, MSHR, PHR, SHRM-CP is a Human Resources Consultant for Nonprofit HR. She works with clients around the country as a member of the HR Cooperative Team. Shaneka started her HR career working with the University of Chicago. She came to Nonprofit HR in December 2012 after spending the prior six and a half years with Illinois Action for Children. Her areas of expertise include Talent Management, Employee Relations, Training & Development and Employee Communications.

     

    She has earned her Professional Human Resources certification from Human Resources Certification Institute and her Certified Professional designation from Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). In her spare time, Shaneka spends time with her family and volunteering with several organizations. She has been an active member with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. since 1998. She is currently the Chair of Scholarship which awards over $25,000 college scholarships annually to high school seniors. She is also active with her college alumni chapter and serves as the Director of Communications for South Suburban Cook HR Association, an affiliate of SHRM in the south suburbs of Chicago.
