Join us for our May meeting, where our speaker Esther Contreras will discuss best practices and new developments in the I-9 world. The I-9 process is an area rife with difficulties for employers due to ever-changin immigration policies and laws. This session will provide HR professionals of all experience levels with a refresher on the Form I-9 completion process. We will review recent government guidance and the new "Smart I-9" form. We will also cover common employer mistakes, best practices, special considerations for self-audits and E-Verify employers, and resources available to employers.
Light refreshments and coffee will be served during the meeting and the presentation.
