What Are the Different Parts of Medicare?

There are four parts to Medicare, each providing different types of healthcare services. Diane Adduci, a community educator, and licensed insurance representative will discuss Medicare Parts A, B, and D and will also discuss Medicare Supplement Plans.  Come and learn about eligibility, enrollment, and the benefits of Medicare and Medicare Supplements

    Learning Objectives:

    1. The benefits of Medicare Parts A and B. When to enroll and who may delay in enrolling in Parts A and B because of active employment.
    2. Medicare A, B, and D special enrollment periods for employees and their spouses if they continue to work beyond the age of 65.
    3. Medicare Part D, the Medicare Prescription Drug program and how the coverage may be different than employer coverage. A very short summary of Medicare Supplements will also be provided.
