    For this month's meeting, Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership will be presentong on resources and services for employers.

    Learning Objectives:

    1. Job/career seeker and business services offered by local public workforce system
    2. Ability to identify  three cost=free workforce training solutions
    3. review the value of when and how these business services can be utilized

    Pilar Trejo is a Regional Manager at the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (The Partnership). She has over 20 years workforce experience with profit and non-profit organizations and holds an Industrial Organizational Psychology degree from St. Xavier University in Chicago.

    Pilar and her husband live in the southwest suburbs with their German Shepherd. Currently, Pilar manages 16 workforce agencies in the Chicagoland area that provide job seekers with career and training services and businesses with cost- free workforce solutions. (The Partnership is a non-profit administrative agency formed in July 2012 providing comprehensive workforce development initiatives that address the occupational training and career placement needs of job seekers, employees and businesses throughout the Chicagoland region.)

    SSCHRA is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®.  This program is valid for 1.00 PDCs for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. For more information about certification or recertification, please visit shrmcertification.org.
