    Business success today often hinges on a company’s ability to bridge cultural differences and build a productive, cohesive workforce spanning multiple countries. Understanding these challenges is the first step towards preparing for them and leveraging them for competitive advantage. 

    For this presentation, our presenter Callie Zipple will provide:

    1. An overview of today’s global workforce,
    2. The impact of cultural diversity on this global workforce, and the HR strategies needed to succeed. 
    3. Global and cultural expertise as a key HR competency and important support resources to help HR professionals navigate this area.

    Callie Zipple, SHRM-CP, is a Field Services Director for SHRM, based in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

    Callie worked as an HR practitioner for 10 years before coming to SHRM in 2017. Callie came to SHRM with familiarity of the organization due to various volunteer roles at the local, state and
    national levels.

    Callie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources and Leadership from St. Norbert College – DePere, WI. She also studied abroad at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia during her time at St. Norbert.

    Callie has received her Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management.
