Guest Presenter: Sara Eklove, LMSW, SAP
ENCOMPASS EAP, a subsidiary of AllOne Health EAPJoin us to explore the impact of continued stress on leaders due to COVID-19 and the
biological impact of cumulative stress. We will discuss how this impacts us in the
workplace and at home as well as discussing adjusting our ability to cope and maintain
resilience and adaptability. We will exercise our opportunities to impact our own
experiences positively as we identify our own plans for personal and professional
balance.Leaders face a both challenging and rewarding job everyday. Leadership skills are
a journey, and not a destination. As an organizational leader, one should continue
to evolve and develop skill sets as often as they can. Be an example as a leader
and practice some of the below techniques to help enhance your leadership
abilities while not ignoring your most valuable asset - yourself!
- HELP: Help others and ask for help
- MOTIVIATE: Motivate other people
- ACHIEVE: Achieve unity within their group
- GUIDE: Guide those who need guidance
- ESTABLISH: Establish goals and begin to work toward them
- HOLD: Hold themselves accountable for their group’s actions
- LISTEN: Listen to those they are leading
- SLOW DOWN: Remember that eyes are on you, taking care of yourself is critical!
