     Gender 101: Cinnamon Rolls not Gender Roles.

    Gender 101 is a beginning workshop about the concepts of sex, sexual identity, gender, and gender identity. The workshop provides definitions for these constructs and will discuss in-depth some of the LGBTQIA+ and trans* population identities. The presenter, Dr. Lee Helbert, will touch on pronoun usage and those complexities in the trans* vocabulary.

    Learning objectives:

    • Discuss some of the LGBTQIA+ definitions and trans population identities
    •  Understand more about pronoun usage
    •  Recognize that gender is not binary.
