Violet M. Clark is a seasoned legal advisor with extensive experience helping employers across the country manage risk and achieve growth since joining Laner Muchin in 1988. She specializes in guiding employers, boards, and special committees on key human resources initiatives, including workplace culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as a range of employment-related issues. Violet's deep understanding of labor, employment liability, and collective bargaining, combined with her commitment to understanding her clients' businesses on a personal level, enables her to effectively guide leadership on internal policies and governance. She also excels in resolving workplace issues, negotiating favorable outcomes, and providing valuable insights on employee retention, diversity efforts, and culture revitalization.
Kiran Gill joined Laner Muchin in 2023, focusing her practice on private and public sector employment litigation. She has extensive experience handling complex legal issues, including claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and FLSA, and represents employers before the EEOC, DOL, and state and local agencies. Kiran is skilled in all aspects of pretrial litigation in both state and federal courts, from discovery to settlement conferences and mediation. Before joining Laner Muchin, she worked as an associate at a boutique employment law firm and a full-service midsize firm in the greater Chicago area. Kiran earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, where she served as President of the Women's Law Society.
