Meeting

Do you handle your time or does it handle you? For this month's meeting, M. Colleen Klimczak, CPO  will be presenting on how to get more done in less time.  Colleen will discuss the time management toolbox kit every human resources professional should have.

Instead of having a June meeting, SSCHRA will join other HR Professionals attending the Chicago SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition, June 17 - 20, 2018!

Technological advancements have made it possible for people to work from anywhere at any time.  However, this has caused us to feel like we can never get away from work and have the downtime that we need in order to be at our best.  When we don't give ourselves time to rest and recover, we are at a greater risk for burnout.  Burnout can mean that we are feeling exhausted and that a weekend of sleeping in can help us recover or it can be a total physical and mental breakdown requiring medical attention. 

Annual Legal Update - our speaker Violet M Clark will be reviewing hot legal updates for 2018.  Attendees will leave the session well prepared with up-to-date information on new and upcoming laws for 2018.

What Are the Different Parts of Medicare?

There are four parts to Medicare, each providing different types of healthcare services. Diane Adduci, a community educator, and licensed insurance representative will discuss Medicare Parts A, B, and D and will also discuss Medicare Supplement Plans.  Come and learn about eligibility, enrollment, and the benefits of Medicare and Medicare Supplements
