Lynne M. Williams Lynne M. Williams, Ed.D. Candidate, is the Executive Director of the Great Careers Group & BENG a volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides career education and networking connections for: 1) jobseekers in career transition, including veterans and 2) employed and self-employed for career management.

Dave is a member of Laner Muchin’s COVID-19 task force, spending the better part of the last year and a half helping employers overcome the many challenges presented by COVID-19. In addition, Dave regularly litigates substantial exposure to employment litigation matters, including wage and hour class actions as well as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. He also represents and counsels employers in labor relations, including union avoidance strategies, responding to union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, and labor board hearings.

Matt WesslerMatt Wessels is Consultant Engagement Director at Advanced Resources with a focus in human resources/talent acquisition. He has 10+ years of experience with the last 8 years being with AR where he was pivotal in launching their HR consulting practice. Through his efforts, he has helped numerous clients obtain talent in Total Rewards, Recruitment, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Change Management, HRIS, HR Leadership, and HR Coordination.

From birthing an award-winning non-profit and expanding it into multiple states to being elected to legislate for 1.9 million people while keeping oversight over a multi-billion-dollar capital construction project, Steve has had a wide variety of experiences. He has been a small business owner, salesman, driven mixers and 18-wheel, and helped build his own house. He enjoys riding his H-D motorcycle.

This presentation will be around attracting and retaining talent in an employee’s market.  Our presenters, Emily Sternberg and Jennifer Dickey will discuss compensation strategies for today’s HR professionals in a round-table format with real-world scenario discussions. Best Practices and Industry trends will be presented by our certified compensation professional.
